    Leaders possess innate personal qualities that distinguish them from others. The difference is rooted in mindset. Leadership is a journey and can be challenging. You can work at it, and you can get better if you develop the skills. Great leadership is needed in a start up business & daily management. Mismanagement and the lack of leadership are routine causes of business failure. You must apply yourself & demonstrate enough leadership to succeed. A great leader is a thinker & planner. Someone who will think through his actions before making a move or providing a solution. Someone who is prepared to get things done and when an urgent need arises. Traditionally many people think of leadership as the skills, qualities and behavior of an individual who exerts influence over others to take action or achieves a goal using their position and authority.

    You may think talent, rather than hard work, is the fundamental component of leadership success. It’s little of both. Sometimes you might be scared to face a challenge because you are afraid of failure. But that’s what a leader does, they face challenges head on. You can (& should) learn from challenges & mistakes. A challenge is an opportunity to learn and do better next time through a step by step process.

    The more experience that you gain and the more successes that you have, the more likely you are to believe there’s not much left to learn. That’s highly incorrect. There is always something to learn & improve on.  As time goes by things will change. Are you ready for the change & challenge? A great leader is.  If you cannot manage your personal affairs then managing others, a business or projects could be even more difficult.

    A good quantity of success can be developed through TQM. TQM is top quality management, also known as customer satisfaction. It provides a high return on investments through improving efficiency & customer satisfaction. With the main focus being customer satisfaction.

    To develop success & benefit from TQM, through out your business or organization, all members should participate in process measurement and controls, improving processes, products, services and the culture in which they work as a means of continuous improvement.

    TQM is about focusing all functions and levels of an organization on quality and continuous improvement. Continuous is the key word here. The main focus of TQM is about meeting or exceeding customer requirements.

        Starting and maintaining a business can be hard in general and that’s one of the many reasons that many entrepreneurs outsource some their business or project operations. But there is a lot that can be said about starting and maintaining an ebay business. Just like any other business, starting a business is one thing but maintaining it is another.

        Maintaining it is the key and you have to be passionate about maintaining a business. You can start out by drafting up a strategic plan and a business plan. Think about the products that you want to offer. Will you have variety of them or not? Will you be a discount merchant? etc…

        Before you just dive into this business, think long and hard about your strategy to develop this business. When developing your strategy to build and operate your business, think about your combination of sales volumes and profit margins. Think about how your sales volumes & profit margins will support your operations and still give you a profit.

        If you are sure that starting an ebay business is right for you then lay out a sound business plan and get registered as an ebay seller. As I’ve stated, there’s more that can be said about starting an ebay business but I hope this helps. Remember that you always need a strategy and plan in business.

Managers should investigate who’s really responsible and establish cultural norms around taking & giving credit in the workplace. Setting a precedent can prevent tough situations, as your team members understand what’s expected of them.

    Stay Prepared For Business Taxes 

    Throughout the life and management of your business you should have things in order especially when it comes to tax time. This is one of the one of the many times that you don’t want to screw up in business. Sometimes preparing your business for tax time can be a pain but it must get done.

    You should have had things organized already. Like your receipts & other important tax info. All receipts should be original, not copies. The IRS already knows how businesses big & small try to deduct as much as possible. So have your things in order, just in case of an audit. Have proper storage for your receipts & tax info in a safe organized place such a secure organized fire proof file cabinet or storage boxes etc…

    Also recheck things with your bookkeeper, payroll company and/ or get assistance from a CPA, tax specialist or your local IRS office for free. Whatever the condition of your business finances, always pay your taxes.

    If you don’t know then educate yourself on business taxes. Education will really help you out in the long run. Sometimes if the nature of your business is somewhat consistent from year to year, you may be able to manage your business taxes by yourself.

    Look into taking advantage of many tax breaks.Tax laws can be confusing, especially with the constantly changing stipulations for business filings. So it’s always good to educate yourself & get help.
